Fibre fun 6-12 years. Place des Arts. Learn Spinning weaving on table looms, inkle looms, tapestry weaving, felting and more; Home learners fibre arts - K-3 and 4-12 Place des Arts. Similar program to fibre fun; Seaview and Central Community schools - Introduction to fibre arts.

Coquitlam Public Library

Description of Services:

Story Times for children birth to age 6 book programs, Reading Buddies, Red Cedar groups, library or in- school visits, summer programs. The Reading Buddies program is for children in Grades 1-4 {with teen buddies). Red Cedar is for Grades 4/5, and the Reading Link program is also for Grades 4/5 (done through the schools, starting every September). There usually are Spring Break programs for Grade4/5, and Summer Reading is for school-aged children. The Coquitam Public Library also has a French conversation circle for immersion students with teen buddies.

Sasamat Outdoor Centre

Description of Services:

Providing day camps and overnight camps throughout the entire summer with programs specific to 6 to 12 years of age.  We focus on social and physical development through outdoor skill developments. Catering to school groups for educational programs throughout the remainder of the year we provide consistent education and play in the outdoors.
